Healthy replacement: CDC Milestone Tracker (checklists, no predictions) or Wermom's milestones module (CDC-aligned + video examples). The anxiety from Wonder Weeks is often the prediction model itself — you didn't need it.

Validating: that anxiety is real. The Wonder Weeks framing of 'leaps' creates expectation cycles. Removing it usually improves parental wellbeing within 2 weeks in my practice.
