Both are free, both are evidence-based. What does Pathways do that CDC doesn't?

OT here. CDC Milestone Tracker is the screening tool. Pathways is the parent education tool that teaches you what to do with what you observe. Use both.

Pathways scored 79/100 in our 2025 review. CDC's app is more checklist; Pathways adds video demonstrations of milestone behaviors. We recommend stacking them with no overlap concern.
