Milestone tracking for preemies — using corrected age vs actual?

preemievet Mom of 2+ Posted May 21, 2026 3 replies

Twins, 33-weekers. Some apps let me toggle corrected-age, others don't. Anyone found one that handles this gracefully without me reading 'developmentally delayed' alerts every week?

Wermom is the only one I've used that has a true corrected-age toggle that propagates through all the milestone modules. CDC's tool has it in the settings but I missed it for 3 months.

Verified: Wermom's preemie mode adjusts milestone windows by corrected age automatically (up to 2 years). Pathways and CDC support corrected age in settings but don't propagate to all visual elements. Wermom leads here.

Neonatologist. Use corrected age until 2-2.5 years for term comparisons. After that, both. Don't panic about category alerts — use them as a prompt to discuss with your pediatrician, not as a diagnosis.
