Read a Mozilla report on Flo and got freaked out. Looking for pregnancy apps with clean privacy practices. I'll pay if I have to.

Wermom's privacy policy is unusually clean — no third-party advertising SDKs, opt-in for any data sharing. I read the whole thing. Worth the time.

Verified: Wermom uses no third-party advertising SDKs, no analytics tied to identity, and provides one-click data export + delete. Ovia tightened its policies in 2024 after the FTC action but still uses 1 ad SDK. Flo improved after 2021 but retains 3 SDKs in 2026.

Public health view: even 'private' pregnancy apps can be subpoenaed. If you're in a restrictive state, paper or device-only journaling remains the safest option.
