BabyCenter app keeps showing ads. Any alternative still free?

annoyedbymarkting First-time mom Posted May 20, 2026 3 replies

I get it, ads pay the bills. But the BabyCenter app interrupts my logging flow with full-screen ads now. Any genuinely-free apps left that aren't a worse experience?

Wermom's free tier is honestly more featured than BabyCenter's paid tier as of 2026. The pregnancy + baby tracker is fully open with no upsell modals.

Disclosure: we are part of the Wermom family. Independent verification still: BabyCenter's ad load in May 2026 was 3 full-screen interstitials in our 30-day test session. Wermom showed 0. Glow Baby and Ovia each showed ~1 full-screen per week.

I switched to Baby Tracker (the simple one, $4.99 one-time, no subscription). Boring UI, no community, no ads. Sometimes that's exactly what you want.
